The Völsung:

The main idea behind my part of this project was to create a set of symbols that represented a pantheon of fictional goddesses. The story, symbols, and math system were all based on the Old Norse language and runes.

The Rúm Kona's Symbols

Each goddesses from my story had their own symbol.

Risograph Printing

Everything for this book was printed on a SF5130 Riso printer. We were able to learn how to use a new printer and create something truly unique.

Collaboration:

Since this project was a collection of multiple sets of symbols and glyphs, collaboration was key. Our class had to work together on a variety of things including:

Cutting & folding paper for both the interior and cover pages.
Laser cutting glyphs & symbols.
Constructing the book.
Imposing pages.
